“As a first time customer at IPB Autosport, Ron and his team did an excellent job from start to finish in servicing my Porsche. From my initial conversation, Ron was prompt in providing me a detailed servicing quote (emailed), & timeline for completion. Although the quote was not the lowest, (it was “considerably” lower than several local dealerships), his customer reviews were overwhelmingly positive, his decades of experience (40+) & extensive knowledge was impressive. Ron was personable, friendly, professional & willing to freely give advice as to any questions asked. As an astute & diligent consumer, I’ve learned that you get what you pay for. Ron & IPB is a “five star” quality maintenance & repair shop for Porsche. Definitely recommend them & will continue to service my Porsche vehicles there.”

“Ron at IPB-Autosport is an extremely engaging guy. His knowledge of sports cars is profound!! I could have sat in his lobby and talked about cars, racing and life all day long, but then how would he get anything done, LOL. I had some miscellaneous work done on my 2006 Porsche Boxster S. Then, after talking to Ron, I decided to have the GIAC tune for my car done. It was well worth the money. I was considering selling my Porsche because I was a bit bored with the performance. Wow, did the tune take my sleepy Porsche to a brand new level. The response is now rapid and snappy, it must have added 18 - 25 HP to the car. Really fun to drive now. My wife wants to keep it too, LOL. As long as I own a German sports car, this is my shop. Thanks Ron and IPB, you guys are great!!”

IPB-Autosport has been working on Porsche cars since the early days, Ron started wrenching in 1977 in the bay area at Porsche PM, Ron was the engine specialist on a full race 356 EP SCCA class car, also crewed for Larry Chmura's Porsche 911 GTU class car. Instead, I found one of the most kind, honest, and generous auto professionals I’ve ever met. He took the time to walk me through what was going on, answered all my questions with patience, and even let me observe parts of the process so I could better understand how everything worked. That level of transparency and willingness to educate is incredibly rare. What stood out most was how I was treated — with genuine respect and zero judgment. I never once felt dismissed or taken advantage of, which can be hard to find in this industry. He even followed up afterward with helpful resources from a specialist so I could better understand the mechanism and feel prepared if it happens again. And despite all the time and care, he didn’t charge me anything. If you’re looking for someone who is not only skilled, but truly cares about people and treats them with integrity, I can’t recommend this shop enough. Read more
