“I happen to be a 914 enthusiast and as many of us know, most Porsche service and repair shops in Sacramento refuse to work on the cars (they '...can't be bothered'). IPB's Ron Kain's is one shop that works non ALL Porsches and BMWs and does excellent work, as well. I've availed Ron's expertise on several occasions and have always been quite pleased with the quality of his staff's work. Regardless of whether you have a rare BMW M-1, a Porsche 911 or a "VolksPorsche" (914), Ron can accommodate your needs quite efficiently and with dispatch! From my initial conversation, Ron was prompt in providing me a detailed servicing quote (emailed), & timeline for completion. Although the quote was not the lowest, (it was “considerably” lower than several local dealerships), his customer reviews were overwhelmingly positive, his decades of experience (40+) & extensive knowledge was impressive. Ron was personable, friendly, professional & willing to freely give advice as to any questions asked. As an astute & diligent consumer, I’ve learned that you get what you pay for. “Ron at IPB-Autosport is an extremely engaging guy. His knowledge of sports cars is profound!! I could have sat in his lobby and talked about cars, racing and life all day long, but then how would he get anything done, LOL. I had some miscellaneous work done on my 2006 Porsche Boxster S. Then, after talking to Ron, I decided to have the GIAC tune for my car done. It was well worth the money. I was considering selling my Porsche because I was a bit bored with the performance. Wow, did the tune take my sleepy Porsche to a brand new level. The response is now rapid and snappy, it must have added 18 - 25 HP to the car. Really fun to drive now. My wife wants to keep it too, LOL. As long as I own a German sports car, this is my shop. Thanks Ron and IPB, you guys are great!!”
