These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the myodo platform, including our website (myodo.co), connected vehicle devices, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
myodo is a connected vehicle health platform. We provide technology that allows you to:
We are a technology platform. We do not perform vehicle repairs, diagnose vehicle problems, provide automotive repair services, or provide insurance or financial advice. Repair shops on our platform are independent businesses, not our employees or agents.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@myodo.co if you suspect unauthorized access.
The myodo OBD-II device contains proprietary firmware. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the device firmware solely in connection with the Service for the duration of your subscription.
The device firmware may be updated automatically over-the-air (OTA). Updates may modify device functionality, data collection parameters, or communication protocols. You may not block, interfere with, or reverse firmware updates.
You may not: reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or tamper with the device or firmware; use the device for any illegal purpose; install the device in a vehicle you do not own or have authorization to equip; use the device to develop a competing product; or resell or transfer the device without our written consent.
"User Content" means documents, images, and other materials you upload to the Service (repair orders, receipts, photos).
Our Service uses AI-powered document parsing to extract structured data from uploaded documents. This parsing is provided on an "as-is" basis:
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). You authorize us to charge your payment method on file.
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@myodo.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in a promotional offer.
The Service, including all software, designs, text, and branding, is owned by SaaS Car, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our intellectual property except the limited license to use the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We are not a repair shop, mechanic, or automotive service provider. Any information provided through the Service (including fault code descriptions, maintenance alerts, or service suggestions) is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional automotive advice or diagnosis.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR VEHICLE DAMAGE.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SaaS Car, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) your installation of the device in a vehicle you were not authorized to equip.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Sacramento County, California.
YOU AND MYODO AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
This arbitration agreement does not apply to: (a) claims in small claims court; (b) actions to enforce intellectual property rights; (c) claims for injunctive relief; or (d) claims that cannot be subject to arbitration under applicable law, including claims under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. For any claims not subject to arbitration, exclusive jurisdiction shall be in the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with 30 days' notice. Upon termination:
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
