This page describes how to use the myodo Shop Dashboard. It supplements the Shop Partner Agreement.
Getting started
- Complete shop onboarding using the invite link from myodo.
- Accept the Shop Partner Agreement and create your admin account.
- Upload historical repair orders (optional) so customer vehicles and service history are available in the platform.
- Configure hours, services, and online booking from Settings.
Core workflows
Customers and vehicles
- Customers are created when you upload service records or when a customer books through your online booking page.
- Each vehicle is identified by VIN. Records you upload attach to the vehicle’s universal history.
- Use the customer profile to view service history, messages, and appointments.
Service records
- Upload PDF or image repair orders from the dashboard or customer profile.
- Parsed records may require review before they appear in the customer’s history.
- Only upload records you are authorized to share under applicable law and your shop’s customer authorizations.
Appointments and messaging
- Customers can request appointments through your online booking page; you confirm or decline from the dashboard.
- Inbox threads connect your shop with customers for each vehicle or appointment, by text and email.
- Customers who provide a phone number at booking consent to receive service-related texts; myodo handles STOP/HELP opt-out automatically. You are responsible for honoring opt-outs and for any consent required by applicable law before messaging customers.
Team access
- Invite advisors from Settings. Each advisor signs in with their own account tied to your shop.
Compliance reminders
- Maintain valid BAR (or equivalent) licensing and customer authorizations for record uploads.
- Do not share customer data outside the Service except as permitted by law and your agreements with customers.
- myodo creates and owns a de-identified, VIN-level dataset derived from uploaded service records, as described in the Shop Partner Agreement and Privacy Policy. This data is stripped of consumer- and shop-identifying fields.
